Gannon University's Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences invites applications for an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in the entry-level master's degree in Occupational Therapy. The appointment for this twelve-month notice appointment position begins August 2017. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of Level II Fieldwork selection and placement. Release time is available to fulfill the administrative responsibilities of the position. Candidates with expertise in general rehabilitation are preferred. Specifically, we are looking for expertise to teach the following courses within our curriculum: OCCT 441: Analysis of Human Movement as well as foundational courses such as OCCT 201: Introduction to Occupational Therapy Practice, OCCT 313: Occupational Science and Analysis, and GOCCT 730: Professional Issues Seminar. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues, advise students, develop and maintain a scholarship program, and participate in service activities to support the University, community, and profession.

Qualified candidates are required to have an earned master's, doctorate, or terminal degree (MSOT, MOT, Ph.D., Ed.D., D.H.S., D.Sc., O.T.D., etc.) granted by an institution accredited by a US Department of Education-recognized regional accrediting body is required and five years of clinical experience. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania as an Occupational Therapy is required; NBCOT certification or eligibility for certification is required. Candidates who are able to provide evidence of effective teaching and scholarship in higher education are preferred. Ideally, candidates will have experience using course management systems for purposes of instruction and advising. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
