STATUS:
Full-time, Non-tenure track, 12 month

QUALIFICATIONS:
Clinical experience in surgery, orthopedics, internal/primary care medicine or emergency medicine would be desirable. Prior teaching or lecturing experience would also be desirable. Candidates must also possess strong computer, writing, and oral communication skills

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Physician assistant candidates must possess a Master's degree, and NCCPA certification, medical physicians must be board certified.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Course coordination, lecturing, lab and seminar instruction, student recruitment, admissions activities, clinical, committee participation, student advising, quality assessment activities, and other administrative duties.

This faculty member will have additional responsibilities involving clinical coordination. This would include assisting the clinical coordinator with clinical-site development, student assignment, coordination of clinical faculty, student site visitation, interfacing with clinical preceptors, student advising, and general supervision of the learning experience at clinical sites. The position also involves the opportunity for clinical practice
