Broward College is a nationally ranked institution of higher education in Broward County, Florida, providing residents and non-residents with access to high-quality, affordable education. The College offers several degree options, including certificate programs, two-year university-transfer degrees, two-year career degrees, baccalaureate degrees in selected programs and continuing education courses. The college is accepting applications for the position of Associate Dean, Nursing. The college is currently accepting applications for the Associate Dean, Academic Affairs, (Nursing).
Position Objective: The purpose of the job is to serve in a management and leadership capacity reporting to the Academic Dean or Administrator for the responsibility of overall department operations in accordance with college policies, procedures and contractual agreements, and in support of the overall plan of the college. Employees in this job classification are responsible for the comprehensive coordination and administration of all matters relating to personnel, students, scheduling, curriculum implementation, external agencies, instruction, and all financial considerations relating to the department, and accomplishes such in coordination with the college's mission and college wide goals and campus-based initiatives. Associate Deans provide leadership for all instructional programs which may include all or some of the courses within the associate of arts, associate in science, and associate in applied science degrees as well as vocational and technical certificates. Performs related work as directed.
There are three vacancies available, one on each campus, Central, North and South.

Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Nursing required. Doctorate in Higher Education, Nursing preferred.

Minimum Experience/Training: Requires three years teaching experience in Nursing at the postsecondary level, with a history of demonstrated leadership roles in educational settings.

Salary: $74,200 - $85,350
