Interventional Rad Tech – Job ID 412085
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Florida State Radiographers License issued by the department of Radiation Control required. Current CPR license required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and current registration required. CV, CI OR VI Registry required.
SHIFT/HOURS: M-F with rotating every other Saturday, 10 hour shifts primarily 0800-1830, Saturday 0700-1730. Response time has to be within a 30 minute timeframe for mandatory neuro call. We do have both an "A" and "B" call team so call averages one week/month
