Breakthrough Treatment Promises New Hope And Help For Kids And Adults With Dyslexia And Related Disorder

Dr. Harold N. Levinson has made major strides in the understanding and successful treatment of those suffering from the many symptoms of dyslexia and its related disorders—enabling dumb-feeling dyslexics to rapidly feel smarter and smarter. His 50-year clinical research effort has dramatically helped more than 35,000 dyslexics to date! So how did he do it?

In Feeling Smarter and Smarter—Discovering the Inner-ear Origins and Treatment for Dyslexia/LD, ADD/ADHD and Phobias/Anxiety, Dr. Levinson explains his "highly original” and groundbreaking insights and effective treatment process in easy-to-understand language—often defying traditional misconceptions leading nowhere for over a century. At the core of his amazing research is the discovery that dyslexia—really its complex syndrome—is caused by one treatable signal-tuning dysfunction within the inner-ear and its supercomputing cerebellum — not brain damage.

In other words, when "dizzy” or scrambled signals adversely affect the functioning of multiple normal brain processors, corresponding difficulties may secondarily arise with reading, writing, spelling, math, memory, speech, direction and time, as well as concentration, activity levels, impulsivity, balance and coordination, headaches, nausea, dizziness, ringing ears and motion-sickness ― all of which raise frustration levels and create feelings of being dumb, ugly, klutzy, phobic and depressed. Sadly, if untreated, these symptoms often result in negative behaviors, such as, cutting class, bullying or being bullied, dropping out of school and substance abuse—as well as angry, emotionally traumatized and scarred dysfunctional adults.

Dr. Levinson shares symptom-riddled stories and photos of real patients, young and old, as they reveal both their agonizing reading and non-reading impairments and the surprise and excitement when their rapid, dramatic improvements occur after using simple and safe inner-ear enhancing medications and nutrients. His new book is replete with exciting discoveries and solutions—many that are both astonishing and fascinating. For all dyslexics as well as their caring families, teachers and healers, Dr. Levinson's inspiring work will forever be life-changing.

Finally, by similarly treating the coexisting signal-scrambling "demon” that Dr. Levinson found present in those with major brain processing disorders like Autism or ASD, traumatic brain injuries, etc., can be rapidly helped—not cured. So as Dr. Levinson concludes, "The best is yet to come!”

Formerly Associate Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Medical Center, Dr. Levinson is currently the Director of the Levinson Medical Center for Learning Disabilities in Great Neck, NY. He is a world-renowned psychiatrist and neurologist credited with bringing about a dramatic breakthrough in the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of dyslexia and its related syndromes. In addition, his new insights and scientific instruments can be used to screen for this disorder before academic symptoms arise—and even prevent their surfacing. His many scientific papers have appeared in medical/educational journals, and been reviewed by the NY Times, Science, Time and Smithsonian. He has also appeared on a number of television programs in the U.S. and Britain, including The Today Show, Larry King Live and Donahue.

He is the author of 8 books, including The Discovery of Cerebellar-Vestibular Syndromes and Therapies, A Solution to the Riddle – Dyslexia, a reprinting of his 1980 medical text heralded as "decades ahead of its time” and "a new millennium work.”
