We are currently looking for Full time Medical Technologists or Medical Laboratory Technician. St. Luke’s Hospital has two campuses, located in Chesterfield and Des Peres, in St. Louis Missouri.

Description:
Performs a variety of laboratory procedures, some of which are complex, involving numerous steps and techniques, operates various laboratory instruments, and may be required to use independent judgment. The principles and techniques of good laboratory practice are required to produce test results, which aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment. These specific tasks will allow the Laboratory technician to play a part in the giving of quality patient care in a safe working environment. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
Education:
• Associates Degree in Clinical Lab Science or Certified Technician On-the-job or military trained tech certification required
• Medical Lab Technician Certification required OR Medical Technologist Certification Required
• Certification requiring educational maintenance by the certifying agency must be kept current and valid.
***New Grads will be given 6 months from start date to obtain Medical Lab Technician Certification/Medical Technologist Certification.***
