Faculty – Health Professions – Evening Nursing Program

Annual Salary: $76,000


 


Summary: This position is for a full-time 12-month (fiscal year) nurse faculty member in the Health Professions Division. Position requires face-to face teaching on-site.


 


Join our team of dynamic student-centered educators who positively impact and assist students to achieve life changing career goals. Faculty members are appointed and assigned rank according to established policies and collective bargaining agreements.  As professionals in a community college setting, faculty are involved in a variety of instructional and non-instructional activities, which contribute to goals and objectives of a comprehensive two-year institution.  


 


Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required. A candidate with a BSN may be considered with a 3- year plan for MSN completion. Successful experience in medical/surgical including clinical practice within the last 4 years, is required. College level teaching experience is preferred. Experience in distance education, i.e. online, hybrid and/or web enhanced courses or willingness to learn and teach in these modes is desirable.


 


Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Current and unencumbered nursing licensure to practice in Pennsylvania is required.
