Pediatric Critical Care Physician, Assistant/Associate Professor


 


The Department of Pediatrics Stony Brook Children’s Hospital seeks faculty for the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at either the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level.


 


Responsibilities include teaching, research and patient care programs appropriate to a major university. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence, education, patient safety and collaboration.


 


Preference will be given to candidates with research experience and interest in developing a research program.


 


Qualifications


Required Qualifications: MD/DO Degree. Board Certified in Pediatrics. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York.


 


Preferred Qualifications: Research experience and interest in developing a research program.

Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
