Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Pediatric Emergency Department

The Department of Pediatrics at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital seeks faculty for the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at either the Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor Level.

To qualify for an appointment as Associate Professor the candidate must meet the School of Medicine’s criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure located at: http://stonybrookmedicalcenter.org/body.cfm?id=1383#apt

Requirements include: MD/DO degree, Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics, eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York.

Preference will be given to candidates who have graduate teaching, research and administrative experience.

The Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor will serve as Attending Physician in the Stony Brook University Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department. The selected incumbent will be responsible for teaching and supervising students and residents, contributing to successful research programs in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and performing administrative assignments.
