Director of the Behavioral Health Service Line

This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer of a 382 bed Hospital within the System. This Hospital recently was listed as being one of the Top 100 Hospitals.

The Director has an approximate total of 60 FTE’s. The Behavioral Health Center is open 24/7. Inpatient Behavioral Health is currently licensed for 34 beds (semi-private and single rooms).

This is a non-union environment. The Behavioral Health Service Line’s 2012 expense budget is $8 – $10 M. The Behavioral Health Service Line had a direct margin of $1 M in 2011.
The successful candidate will have minimum 5 years experience in managing behavioral health services, both inpatient and outpatient. The incumbent will have a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, MBA, Healthcare Administration or related field.
